Herb Fox is a Los Angeles family appellate lawyer with a practice limited to California courts of appeal cases. He is one of only 240 appellate attorneys in California to attain this certification (out of 210,000 currently licensed attorneys). In order to receive the California Appellate Law Specialist Certification, Herb was required to document his substantial hands-on appellate law experience, pass an exam on appellate law procedures administered by the State Bar, and present reference attesting to his skills and high ethics. In order to maintain his certification, Herb continues to make appellate law his primary practice and is required to participate in continuing legal education programs exceeding those hours required of general practitioners.
